Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure project timelines are met
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on best practices
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain detailed project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Georgia Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends for project deadlines
