Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors, clients, and team members to ensure project timelines
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid North Carolina electrician license (Journeyman or Master preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and tools for daily work
