Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installations
- Inspect wiring, fixtures, and equipment for compliance with safety codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers on timelines
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Complete detailed documentation for each project
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas electrician license (Journeyman/Master preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and power equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
