You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable roadmaps while fostering a culture of audacious innovation.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global megatrends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Design and lead strategic innovation initiatives targeting $100M+ market opportunities
- Develop future-proof roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify ROI of innovation investments using advanced scenario modeling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Proficient in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Experience building and scaling innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
