Responsibilities
- Analyze converging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop predictive models for industry transformation scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation strategies
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging societal and technological shifts
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into organizational planning
- Manage a portfolio of experimental innovation projects with $1M+ budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent technical field
- 5+ years experience in innovation strategy or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Technology Roadmapping)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects implemented
