Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic patterns to forecast industry transformations through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients adopting emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics frameworks)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and validate next-gen business models and product architectures
- Present executive-level trend briefings to Fortune 500 boards with data-driven impact assessments
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions in our Silicon Valley innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Proven track record of forecasting technological disruptions with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising C-suite on strategic pivots during technological inflection points
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from futurists.org) preferred
