Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) on future industry shifts
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup partnerships for ecosystem expansion
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation pipeline success
- Advise executive team on emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ markets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with innovation frameworks like Design Futures or Speculative Design
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-concept implementations
