Responsibilities
- Forecast and map 3-5 year technology disruptions using proprietary Horizon Scan methodology
- Architect strategic innovation frameworks for quantum computing and neuromorphic AI integration
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Develop executive-ready foresight briefings translating complex trends into business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across 15 global product lines
- Mentor junior futurists while publishing white papers in Nature Futures journal
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with portfolio of published trend analyses
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing simulation platforms
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants from NSF or similar bodies
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., MFMP, WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-viable innovations
