- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) to forecast 2026 market opportunities and risks
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership to prepare for future uncertainties
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present data-driven strategic recommendations to board members and stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs for strategic initiatives and adjust frameworks based on evolving conditions
- Build cross-functional partnerships to align organizational capabilities with future demands
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic consulting, corporate strategy, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
