Responsibilities

- Lead scenario planning workshops for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Identify and partner with academic institutions, startups, and research labs driving 2026+ innovations
- Present futuristic frameworks to executive leadership and key stakeholders quarterly
- Author thought leadership papers on societal impact of next-generation technologies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects targeting 2026-2030 commercialization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI ethics)
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains: climate tech, neuro-interfaces, or space commercialization
- Exceptional data modeling skills for long-term trend forecasting (Python/R preferred)
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Futures Thinking methodologies
- Published work on technology's societal implications in peer-reviewed journals
