- Coordinate with R&D labs to validate emerging scientific discoveries against commercial viability
- Design scalable architectures for next-gen data ecosystems processing exabytes daily
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 7+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year planning success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, nanotech, or synthetic biology)
- Published research or patents in future-forward technology domains
- Experience with agile development for long-term innovation pipelines
- Strong understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully scaled futuristic projects
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
