Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence) with 2026 commercial viability focus
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and technology impact assessments
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-era technologies
- Mentor next-generation talent in strategic innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ forecasting success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to commercial deployment
