Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts and circuit requirements.
- Wiring & Installation: Perform basic wiring tasks, terminate conduit, and install electrical components under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites, organize tools, and clean up work areas efficiently.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Learn to use multimeters and diagnostic tools to identify circuit faults and test electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- License: No prior experience is required; we provide training. A valid driver’s license is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of geometry and algebra is helpful for wiring calculations.
- Interest: A genuine interest in learning the electrical trade and a willingness to work hard.
- Travel: Willingness to travel between Atlanta, GA and job sites in Florida.
