Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform essential tasks such as stripping wire, terminating conductors, mounting outlets, and installing lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, including proper tool organization and site cleanup.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide exceptional service and updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to complete a state-approved apprenticeship program.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
