Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Tool Handling: Learn to properly use and maintain hand and power tools required for electrical tasks.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin training to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Circuit Testing: Participate in testing circuits and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Strong desire to learn and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Background: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
