Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and laying out materials.
- Operational Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., brooms, shovels, forklifts) under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials during the construction process.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs).
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required for enthusiastic applicants.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potential travel to Florida projects.
- Tools: Own basic personal safety gear (steel-toed boots, work gloves) is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
