Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, terminating connections, mounting outlets, and installing fixtures.
- Conduct safety inspections and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain the required state apprenticeship license.
