Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine tasks such as pulling wire, bending conduit, and mounting outlets and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate and maintain electrical testing equipment, multimeters, and hand tools safely.
- Communicate effectively with the foreman and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and identifying potential safety hazards.
Qualifications
- No Prior Experience Required: High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school graduates are a plus.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and a proactive attitude toward safety.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic understanding of mathematics is helpful for calculating electrical loads and measurements.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
