Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to provide effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project timelines and requirements.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and proficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license in New Mexico.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuitry.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, crawl, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
