Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards, code violations, or needed repairs.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Install and connect wiring, lighting fixtures, control devices, and outlet boxes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
- Document all work completed and report any material shortages or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions) are essential for measurements.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
