Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including pulling wire, stripping insulation, terminating cables, and mounting electrical devices.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
- Learn and utilize various hand and power tools correctly under supervision.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required. We value attitude and work ethic over past history.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (formulas for voltage, amperage, resistance) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior staff.
