Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials and electrical equipment on job sites.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
- Tool Preparation: Prepare tools and materials for use, ensuring all safety gear (PPE) is worn and inspected.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Testing & Verification: Assist in testing circuits and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners during project execution.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License: Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculations.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Background Check: Must pass a background and drug screen check.
