Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Provide hands-on support to licensed journeyman electricians during residential and commercial installations.
- Material Preparation: Organize and prepare electrical materials, tools, and equipment for daily job sites.
- Wiring & Installation: Help with pulling wire, mounting electrical boxes, and assisting in the termination of circuits under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including debris removal and tool organization.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project layouts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Customer Interaction: Represent our brand professionally when communicating with homeowners or business clients.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; technical certification is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, and a proactive work ethic.
- Tools: Basic math skills and the ability to use simple hand tools (experience with power tools is a bonus).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time shifts including potential overtime.
