Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans with attention to detail
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
