Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure full compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead weekend project teams for critical facility maintenance
- Document all work using digital reporting systems
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proven expertise with PLC systems and VFD troubleshooting
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems (480V+)
- Ability to work independently in weekend shift environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Emergency response experience preferred
