Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipes, fittings, and fixtures, using hand and power tools.
- Prepare and cut pipes, using pipe cutters, hacksaws, and pipe-bending machines.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in tight/confined spaces.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
