Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and bending using hand and power tools.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites efficiently.
- Develop a strong understanding of local plumbing codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills (fractions, measurements) are highly desirable.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- No prior plumbing experience is necessary.
