Responsibilities
- Assist licensed journeymen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and fixtures.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under strict supervision.
- Load and unload tools and materials, ensuring job sites are organized and safe.
- Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues and provide updates.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand local plumbing codes.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn a new trade and a problem-solving mindset.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
