Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Learn and adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools, test equipment, and vehicles.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools needed for the job.
- Transport materials, equipment, and waste to and from job sites.
- Monitor site cleanliness and safety standards.
- Shadow and learn from certified journeymen and master electricians.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (or currently enrolled).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
