Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Operate hand and power tools, measuring devices, and pipe-bending equipment under supervision.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Perform basic site cleanup, ensuring all work areas are safe and organized.
- Study for and prepare for state licensing examinations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn a trade.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
