Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial pipe installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings under supervision.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and soldering copper piping.
- Ensure all job sites are kept clean and organized, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers, explaining technical issues in easy-to-understand terms.
- Transport materials and tools to various job sites throughout the San Jose area.
- Attend weekly training sessions to improve technical skills and safety knowledge.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces, at heights, or in uncomfortable positions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to obtain a State of California Journeyman License within a specified timeframe.
