Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and demolition
- Operate heavy machinery safely (e.g., excavators, forklifts) and hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform site prep, utility installations, and finishing work
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
