Responsibilities
- Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan projects accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Mentor apprentices and provide technical guidance to junior staff members.
- Utilize modern testing equipment (multimeters, circuit testers) to diagnose complex issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (State of Michigan) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the field.
- Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
