Responsibilities
- Execute physical tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, forklifts, and other equipment
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Availability for 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM shifts (Monday-Friday)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
