Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery, such as forklifts and jackhammers, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring proper handling and organization at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, drywalling, masonry, or concrete work as needed.
- Follow all site safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with housekeeping standards.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members regarding project progress and needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
