Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators) and power tools safely
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
- Ability to read simple blueprints and follow instructions
