Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good working order.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, finishing, or laying flooring to ensure high-quality results.
- Perform general cleanup of the work area and remove debris at the end of each shift.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Support project managers with material tracking and minor site preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long durations.
- Basic math skills for measurements, cuts, and material estimation.
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
