Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation and earthwork operations using heavy machinery
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools with expert precision
- Maintain job site cleanliness and hazardous material disposal protocols
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for accurate implementation
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) seamlessly
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain daily equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Class B driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating excavators, forklifts, and concrete pumps
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of California building codes and safety standards
- Willingness to work nights/weekends for critical project deadlines
