Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, cleanup, and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain equipment safety and report hazards immediately
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with diverse crews on tight deadlines
- Complete daily timecards and progress documentation accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (6 AM start times required)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
