Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate basic hand tools and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and productivity
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform site preparation duties including grading, trenching, and backfilling
- Participate in team huddles and follow project timelines and instructions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide on-the-job training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new construction techniques
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
