Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision and safety compliance
- Assist carpenters and masons with structural installations and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Read blueprints and project specifications for accurate execution
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
