Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, concrete work, and framing
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical specifications
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or equivalent physical labor background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for absenteeism
