Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and operate hand/power tools safely
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and perform basic carpentry tasks
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation of drywall, plumbing, and electrical components
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout all project phases
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with blueprints
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or related field experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow strict safety guidelines
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
