Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) under certified supervision
- Construct and install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols and equipment functionality
- Load/unload construction materials and organize inventory efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers to meet construction timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
