Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools in a safe manner.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
- Perform basic site preparation and demolition tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform manual labor for long shifts.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime as project schedules require.
- Experience in construction is a plus but not required (on-the-job training available).
