Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like pouring concrete and erecting scaffolding
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and basic repairs
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
