Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundational work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision
- Install scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen in specialized construction tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Demolish structures and manage debris removal efficiently
- Read blueprints and technical specifications accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience operating heavy machinery (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of Boston building codes and regulations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
