Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision (training provided)
- Maintain organized work areas and follow strict safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physically strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Basic understanding of verbal instructions and ability to work in a team
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at heights
