As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, supporting our skilled tradespeople and ensuring our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision when required.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with safety regulations.
- Support Trades: Aid carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
