Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Setup: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed by supervisors.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (wood, concrete, steel, tools) to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Support Skilled Trades: Work alongside carpenters, electricians, and masons to assist with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and basic assembly.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely under supervision, including drills, saws, and generators.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping, cleaning spills, and removing waste materials.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level applicants who are willing to learn the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations accurately.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions precisely.
